FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – The Greensboro College baseball team fell to Methodist University 16-3 Saturday in USA South Athletic Conference play.
The Pride (5-16, 1-5 USA South) scored its three runs in the second inning. Daniel Efrid and
Braedon Jewett each recorded RBI hits.
"We need to embrace the tough moment and fight through it," Head Coach
Frank Maldonado said. "There were several occasions in today's game that provided opportunities for us to beat a very well-coached team from Methodist. You have to limit the little mistakes, and we are not very consistent in those facets of the game."
Zach Neumeister,
Andrew Ray,
Bram Johnson,
Mac Graham, Efrid, and Jewett combined for six hits.
Dustin Minnick took the loss on the mound.
Greensboro will return to action at 7 p.m. Friday when they open a three-game set against the Battling Bishops of North Carolina Wesleyan. For more information on Pride baseball, continue to follow
