"Today was the best game we have played this season," Head Coach
Bryan Galuski said. "Every conference game is extremely difficult, but every road conference game is even more difficult. We had 22 assists tonight, which I feel was a big reason for our win today.
"
Parris Scales was outstanding, while
Joseph Gatling and
Simeon Howard played their best all-around games this afternoon. Both Simeon and Joe had five assists, which shows that they both can not only be dynamic offensive threats, but players who make their teammates better. I was also very impressed with the play of
Hamilton Hawkins and
Lorenzo Marry as they both gave us big productive minutes. Our consistent focus and intensity throughout today was the difference. As a staff, we are looking forward to getting back to practice and preparing for our next home conference game on Wednesday."
Parris Scales finished with a game-high 18 points and 12 rebounds, while Gatling (12), Howard (14), Hawkins (11), and Marry (10) each recorded double-figure points.
