The Greensboro College men's lacrosse team dropped to Virginia Wesleyan, 13-5, on Sunday, March 22nd.

The Pride took an early 2-0 lead in the first quarter. Blaine Wise scored the first goal unassisted followed by Lamar Jelks scoring from a pass made by Drew Farrell. Later in the first quarter, V.A. Wesleyan took a 3-2.

One minute before the half, Farrell scored from the stick of Charles Stringfellow. Going into the third quarter, V.A. Wesleyan had a 7-3 lead.

Greensboro scored only two more goals the rest of the game. Wise scored unassisted at the five minute mark of the third quarter. The final goal of the game from The Pride was scored by Denis Radcliffe in the last minute.

Cody Cunningham made 16 saves in goal off 29 shots.

The Pride host Ferrum College on Wednesday, March 25th for a 4 p.m. start time.
