Lowe was a member of the women's soccer team at East Surry High School, while also playing with the Northern Triad Soccer Club. During her time at East Surry, Lowe received All-Conference honors four times, while being named to the All-Region team three times. In the classroom, Lowe graduated with a 4.5 GPA and was inducted into two national honors societies. She is the daughter of Jennifer and Time Lowe, and has two siblings, Caleb and Sophie.
