Greensboro College Pride

PREP:
Ly’Shanette was a four year varsity player at Huntsville High School. She accomplished many awards over her four years, including 2013-2014 second team all-district selection, 2014-2015 first team all-district selection, named 2014-2015 MVP, and 2013-2015 all-district 5A Academic team.  She also played club soccer for Huntsville Girls Division I Eclipse, where she severed has team captain during her 2015 season. Ly’Shanette also played in the Huntsville Military Marching Band, where she helped lead the band to First Division ratings at UIL marching contest during her senior season. Her plans are to major in Biology. She is the daughter of Louis and La’Keythia Major.

“When I left Texas to visit Greensboro College I was unsure about leaving the state that I have called home for the past 17 years. However Coach Mota and the team made me feel like I was at home and already a part of the pride family. I am excited that I will be able to continue my education beyond high school while also playing soccer at the same time.”
