Madi Karch returned to the Pride in the Fall of 2021 as assistant coach after graduating in May 2020. “To have an impactful leader, former player, and top-notch coach that loves Greensboro College is absolutely invaluable”, stated head coach Mike Johnston. “Madi was one of the best players to ever play here and her ability to relate to our players is fantastic.  We are very fortunate to have her as a part of our staff”.  

Karch was a star midfielder for the Pride, served as a team captain, and received All-Conference Athletic and Academic honors during her stellar 4-year career.  She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.S. in Exercise and Sport Studies with a concentration in Exercise Science and has her M.S. in Human Performance from Liberty University.  A Frederick, MD native, Karch was a 4-year starter for her high school program and played on the top-ranked club team in Maryland throughout her illustrious club soccer career.    

Karch is an ACSM certified exercise physiologist and works in the Wake Forest Baptist Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation Center.  Karch has been active in the Greensboro community both as a youth soccer coach with Soccer Shots and as a personal trainer.  Karch enjoys fitness activities in her free time and has a passion for helping others, both on and off the field.
