2021: Played started all nine games he played, compiling 21 ground balls and 14 caused turnovers. Barrett posted five ground balls and three caused turnovers in the March 7 game against Huntingdon. He posted four ground balls and three caused turnovers in the March24 contest against William Peace. His efforts earned Barrett All-USA South First Team honors.

2020: Played and started in all eight games where he totaled 14 ground balls and 12 caused turnovers. Barrett posted three ground balls and three caused turnovers in the February 26 game at Ferrum. He compiled five ground balls and two caused turnovers in the March 7 contest against Randolph.

2019: Played in all 17 games, starting 16, where he amassed 34 ground balls and 25 caused turnovers in addition to a goal and an assist. Barrett posted an assist, five ground balls, and a caused turnover in the March 30 game at Brevard. He amassed four ground balls and five caused turnovers in the April 13 game against Pfeiffer.  He claimed All-USA South Second Team honors as a long stick midfielder.

2018: Played in all 18 contests, starting 16, where he tallied 30 ground balls and 11 caused turnovers in addition to one goal and two assists. He posted a goal, four ground balls and one caused turnover in the February 24 match at Averett. Barrett repeated the effort in the next match on February 26 against Hanover. 

2017: Played in 13 contests, starting eight, where he amassed 12 ground balls and five caused turnovers.

Prep: Thomas was a part of the boy's lacrosse team at River Hill High School

Personal: He is the son of Martin and Katherine Barrett.
