Entering the 2022-23 year, the Pride welcomes Shawn Cardwell to the sidelines to be an assistant coach for men’s lacrosse. Cardwell is a recent graduate of Greensboro College and enjoyed a great career as a 2 sport athlete (football and lacrosse) for the Pride. He got his collegiate start at Harford Community College (MD). He was a 2 way midfielder for the HCC Owls as well as handling faceoff duties.
He arrived at Greensboro College in the fall of 2019 and was a consistent contributor right away. Cardwell was a reliable midfielder that specialized on the defensive half of the field, excelled in the transition game, and handled faceoff duties for his three years. He notched 51 GB’s, 48 FO wins, and 5 points in his career.
Cardwell is also a graduate of Havre de Grace High School where he played both football and lacrosse.
