Scott Bladen joined the Greensboro College Lacrosse staff in September 2021 as an assistant coach. Bladen is no stranger to the college game having a decade of experience under his belt.
He most recently served as the head women’s coach at Randolph College where he led a resurgence of that program. He inherited a small roster and over his 2 years grew the roster to a respectable size while also increasing team GPA and landing 14 athletes on the All Conference team.
Prior to that he served for 7 years as an assistant on the men’s lacrosse staff at Randolph. He wore several hast during his time there. He served as Defensive Coordinator (4 years), Offensive coordinator(2 years) and Recruiting Coordinator(4 years). Bladen added stability to the program and helped grow the roster each year.
Bladen also has extensive experience at the high school and club level where he worked with 3 separate organizations in the Lynchburg area over the span of 13 years as he helped grow the sport in Central Virginia. From 2010-12 he also served as the head boys lacrosse coach at Forest HS. This was a new program he started and grew the team into a state contender in year two. Coach Bladen is proud of his roots in Eastern Maryland where he played at North Caroline High School before completing his bachelors at Liberty University.
Scott and his wife, Jamie live in Greensboro with their son Nathan who is a junior midfielder at Catawba College.
