Cole Churchill joined the Greensboro Men’s Lacrosse staff in August 2023. Churchill serves as a defensive coach and also help with recruiting and other duties.
Churchill comes to College Hill after completing 4 years of coaching at the high school level at his alma mater, Cedar Ridge HS, located just outside Chapel Hill, NC. During his time at Cedar Ridge, he led the program to a record 15-win season. He has also been very active in the travel/club lacrosse scene. He has worked with the Carolina Hilltoppers Lacrosse Club in Chapel Hill for the past four years, assisting in player and team development. He is currently the head coach of the 2026 group and is a focal point for the entire program's defensive curriculum.
Churchill is a graduate of Randolph-Macon College, where he was a four-year starter playing as a Long Stick Midfielder and Defensemen. While there he earned several accolades for academics & athletic achievement. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics with a minor in Mathematics.
Outside of his coaching endeavors, Churchill is a local real estate broker in the Chapel Hill area.
