Raheem Martin has rejoined the Greensboro College men’s basketball staff as an assistant coach in the summer of 2019 following one season at Richard Bland College.
Prior to joining the coaching ranks, Martin was a four-year member of Greensboro College men’s basketball team where he was named USA South Defensive Player of the Year following the 2013-2014 season before finishing his career with 85 blocks, which ranks third on the Pride career record books, while ranking ninth in steals with 116.
Additionally, Martin made 74 starts for the Pride and helped lead his teams to back-to-back appearances in the USA South Athletic Conference Tournament Championship game.
Martin, who received a Bachelor’s Degree from Greensboro College in 2016, currently resides in Greensboro with his wife Abby and daughter Sawyer.
