Biography

2021 Spring: Started all three games at defensive end, posted 12 tackles with two for a loss and .5 sacks. Noell posted five tackles including one for a loss in the April 3 game at Sewanee.  Noell notched a career-high six tackles with one for a loss and .5 sacks in the March 26 game at Methodist.

2019: Appeared in a eight games and started four on the defensive line where he made 14 tackles. Noell posted dive tackles in the October 12 contest at N.C. Wesleyan and followed the effort with a four-tackle performance in the October 19 game at LaGrange.

High School: Three-sport athlete at Newton-Conover, competing in basketball, football and track and field. Named Male Athlete of the Year.

Personal: Son of LaTrecia Ratchford. Majoring in Sociology.

Favorite Athletic Moment: "Getting the chance to play college football. This was so great because I hadn't played football until my junior year of high school."
