PREP: Jarel was a three-sport athlete during his high school career. During his high school tenure, Jarel earned All-County honors, while also earing the Most Valuable Defensive Back Award in consecutive years. He is the son of Carolyn and Rodney Brown. He also has two siblings, Deonte and Kamaria.
