Zac Ellison enters his third season apart of the pride staff & sixth overall with the Pride football staff. He has coached the specialist every year and now is now coaching up Running Backs for the first time in his career.
In his first season with the Pride, Zac mentored 2nd team All-USA South Specialists Zach Allman.
Prior to joining staff, Ellison (Greensboro college class of ‘21) was the starting Kicker & Punter for the pride from 2018-2021, finishing his career as a 1st team All-USA South Punter (42.8 avg yards per punt) Ellison is 4th all time in pride history in career average yards per punt (37.1).
Ellison Graduated from Greensboro College in May of 2021 with a B.S in Business, He is also a 2nd generation Greensboro College graduate; his Mom (Elizabeth Ellison) graduated from Greensboro in May of 1993.
Ellison played his high school football at Northwest Guilford High School in Greensboro, NC
He is a native of Greensboro, NC where his family also resides. Â
