Michael Godsey II enters his first season as Greensboro Colleges Tight Ends coach.
Prior to joining Greensboro College Michael was a High School coach. Spending time at Milton High School in Milton Florida, Holly Springs High School in Holly Springs, North Carolina, and T.W. Andrews High School in High Point, NC.
Michael, from a military family, chose to enlist in the United States Air Force as a Crew Chief on the KC-135 after graduating high school, spent 3 ½ years working on aircrafts before injuring his back and was discharged. He then went back to school and received a B.A. in history and a minor in sociology.
Michael played his high school football at Brenstville District High School in Virginia and Wakefield High School in Raleigh, NC.
Michael a native of Pensacola, Florida is recently married to his wife, Jenna.
