Kyle Buchanan

Kyle Buchanan was added to the Greensboro College football staff in August 2020 to coach the Pride running backs.
 
Buchanan comes to Greensboro College following an overseas coaching tenure with the Silesia Rebels and the Porvoon Butchers. During that time, Buchanan served as the offensive coordinator for both teams where his offensive scheme helped produce the league’s Offensive Most Valuable Player and the winner of the Finnish Heisman Trophy.
 
Prior to going overseas, Buchanan served as an offensive assistant coach at Loraine High School, where he had seven players earn All-District honors, following a two-year stint as a graduate assistant at Sul Ross State University. While at Sul Ross, Buchanan worked with the running backs and the special teams and had four All-ASC selections.
 
Buchanan, a native of Little Rock, Arkansas, graduated from the University of North Texas in 2015 with a B.A. in History and Political Science before obtaining his M.A. in History from Sul Ross State.
 
Buchanan resides in Greensboro with his wife, Katie, who he has been married to since 2016.
