Alex Land

Alex Land was added to the Greensboro College football staff prior to the start of the 2020 season to serve as the Pride’s offensive line coach.
 
Land, a native of Edmond, Oklahoma, comes to the Pride after a two-year stint at Bonneville High School, in Ogden, Utah, where he held the same role, as well as being named the run game coordinator prior to his departure. During his time at Bonneville, Land coached one second team All-State selection, five All-Region selections and two players who signed to play at the college level.
 
In addition to his time at Bonneville, Land also worked as the quality control coach at Weber State University in 2015 where he focused on the offensive line.
 
Before joining the coaching ranks, Land was a four-year member of the Weber State offensive line where he was a three-year starter, a four-year letterman, voted team captain as a senior, and earned honorable mention All-Big Sky accolades. Following his graduation, Land spent time in the IFL as the starting guard for the Salt Lake City Screaming Eagles and the AFL as the starting guard for the Cleveland Gladiators. Land also played on the 2015 Senior US National Team that won the IFAF World Championship Gold Medal.
 
Land graduated from Weber State in 2014 with a B.S. in Physical Education.
