High School: Two-sport athlete at Elkin, competing in basketball and football. Conference defensive player of the year and three-time All-Conference in football. Named First Team All-State and All-Northwest Team and attended the East West All-Star game. In basketball, was a 1,000-point scorer and a three-time All-Conference player.

Personal: Son of Melissa and Nick Longworth. Studying Exercise Science and previous attended Lees-McRae College where he played basketball.

Favorite Athletic Moment: "Winning conference defensive player of year because all my hard work and dedication paid off for me."
