Greensboro College Pride

2021: Started all 32 games played, leading the team with 54 hits (second in the USA South). He hit .380 on the season (fifth in the USA South) with a .460 on-base percentage. He was second on the team in doubles (eight) and stolen bases (18, fifth in USA South) while also hitting one home run and 14 RBI. Garvey Jr. tallied three RBI in the 2/25 victory at Pfeiffer. Posted 18 multi-hit games and a ten-game hitting streak. Garvey Jr. did not register a hit in only three games.

2020: Started all 18 games played, led the team in hits with 27. Hit .338 with six doubles, a home run, and eight RBI while stealing five bases. His on-base percentage totaled .424. Tallied ten multi-hit games with two three-hit efforts. Posting two multi-RBI games with two in the 2/23 matchup at Guilford and the 2/29 matchup at home against William Peace.

PREP: Michael was a member of the baseball team at Northwest Guilford High School prior to attending Guilford Technical Community College for two years.
