Greensboro College Pride

2021: Started seven contests and posted a 2-3 record. He tallied 32 strikeouts in 39 and two-third innings with a 6.13 ERA. Cenal's longest outing came at nationally-ranked North Carolina Wesleyan where he threw seven and one-third innings, striking out six batters. He posted two more efforts of seven innings or more in the second game of the 4/2 Methodist doubleheader and the 5/1 victory at Averett where he threw seven shutout innings and yielded just five hits.

2020: Made five appearances with four starts, posting a 3-1 record. Cenal recorded 18 strikeouts and 18 walks with a 5.01 ERA. He earned his first save with the Pride in the 2/23 matchup at Guilford in a four-inning effort. Cenal struck out six batters in his longest outing of the season, six and one-third innings, in the 3/7 win at Pfeiffer.

Prep: Jared was a member of the baseball team at Tampa Catholic High School prior to playing two years of baseball at St. Petersburg College.

Personal: Jared is the son of Michelle Ferandez and Steven Cenal. He also has two sisters, Stevie and Gracen.
