Biography

2022: Pitched a 5-4 record over 10 starts.  He totaled 56.2 innings pitched with 40 strikeouts.  He threw six innings without allowing an earned run to start the season against Brevard on February 26th, and pitched an eight inning effort, allowing just one earned run against NC Wesleyan on April 15th.

2021: Finished the season with a 2-3 record in nine appearances with one start. He totaled 26 innings mainly out of the bullpen with a 4.50 ERA with 17 strikeouts and 20 walks. His longest outing was a six-inning effort April 17 against Pfeiffer where he struck out three batters. He earned his first start with the Pride May 2 at Averett in a four-inning effort where he struck out three. He posted a save April 12 at Methodist where he threw three hitless innings, striking out two batters.

2020: Threw four innings with a 2.25 ERA in two appearances. He earned his first collegiate save March 6 at Pfeiffer in his first outing with the Pride.

Prep: Jake was a two-sport athlete at West Forsyth High School where he was named conference Pitcher of the Year

Personal: Jake is the son of Diane and Joe Baldini. He also has one sibling, Dempsey.
