Greensboro College Pride

2021: Returned for another year due to the COVID-waiver and appeared in 19 games with 18 starts where he batted .188 with three doubles and three RBI with four stolen bases. He posted four multi-hit efforts including a three-for-three game in the 3/3 matchup at Pfeiffer where he tallied two RBI. 

2020: Started all 17 games played where he hit .300 with three doubles and five RBI while leading the team in stolen bases with ten. He posted five multi-hit efforts including a four-hit effort in the 2/29 matchup against William Peace. He collected a stretch of three-straight games with one RBI beginning with the 2/16 game at Oglethorpe through both the 2/22 and 2/23 games at Guilford.

2019: Played and started all 40 games, hitting .366 and tied for the team-lead in hits (53) which cracked the top-ten in the USA South. He added seven doubles, 19 RBI, and nine stolen bases. Rodriguez tallied 16 multi-hit efforts with three four-hit games (3/2 vs. William Peace, 3/30 vs. Brevard, and 4/6 vs. Berea). He tallied three RBI in the 3/30 Brevard matchup. Rodriguez started the season hitting safely in nine of the first ten games and closed the season with hits in the final five games.

2018: Appeared in 24 games and made 14 starts...Batted .245 in 53 plate appearances with six RBI and three doubles 

2017: Appeared in 27 games, while making 15 starts as a freshman. Batted .382 in 68 at-bats with 26 hits, three doubles, six RBI and 15 runs scored. 

PREP: During his time on the diamond at Bishop McLaughlin Catholic High School, Rodriguez earned many awards, including: All-County, All-Tampa Bay, Defensive MVP, 3A All-State Team, and All-Tournament Team honors. Jacob was also a swimmer in high school.

PERSONAL: Jacob is the son of Milton and Judy with two brothers Willie and Jared, who is also a member of the Pride.
