Chris Fenisey was named Greensboro College's baseball head coach in August 2021. Fenisey is not new to the Greensboro College campus, as he served as the baseball team's hitting coach from 2016 through 2017. Entering 2026, Fenisey is ranked 3rd all-time in wins in program history.

Fenisey recently served as a volunteer assistant and camp coordinator at High Point University. During his time there, Fenisey was responsible with helping the outfielder and corner infielders on the defensive side while being a first base coach and assisting the development of the offense.

Previously at Greensboro, Fenisey was tasked with the defensive strategy for the team's outfielders and first baseman and served as the first base coach. In addition, he headed the Pride's player development program and was the team's travel coordinator, recruiting coordinator, and camp coordinator.

A native of Tampa, Fla., Fenisey spent six seasons at his alma mater, Saint Leo University in Saint Leo, Fla. His playing career was cut short due to injury in 2010, but he joined the staff as a student assistant and aided the pitching staff for four seasons. Upon his graduation in 2013, Fenisey was promoted to a graduate assistant coach where he oversaw the development of the team's outfielders.
