2021: Started 26 of 27 games played where he hit a career-best .327 with four doubles, two home runs, and a 22 RBI. McGuire amassed a .429 on-base percentage and was third on the team in at-bat (107). He posted three RBI in a three-for-five effort in the 4/1 contest at Lynchburg. McGuire hit a grand slam in the 4/12 contest at Methodist. He posted a three-for-five effort with one home run and four RBI in the 4/27 contest against Mary Baldwin.

2020: Started all 16 games played, batting .222 with four doubles, one home run, and 14 RBI. He amassed the second-most at-bats on the team (63). McGuire collected four multi-RBI efforts with a two-for-two effort with two RBI in the 2/16 matchup at Oglethorpe. He closed the season with two two-RBI efforts in the 3/7 contest with Pfeiffer and the 3/11 matchup at home against Roanoke.

2019: Started all 39 games played, third on the team with a .338 batting average. McGuire was third on the team in RBI (31), hits (51), second in doubles (ten) and triples (three). He collected 14 multi-hit games and tallied a 13-game hitting streak. McGuire hit three-for-five with a home run and three RBI in the 3/30 matchup against Brevard.

2018: Appeared and started 29 games...Batted .324 in 108 at bats while recording 17 RBI and nine extra base hits....Was named to USA South Second Team All-Confernence

2017: Appeared in 13 games, while making making 10 starts as a freshman. Batted .226 in 31 at-bats with seven hits and seven runs scored.   

PREP: McGuire was an honors student at Wharton High School, where he was an All-Conference selection in 2016 for his play on the diamond. 

PERSONAL: Scotty is the son of John and Sherri McGuire.
