Greensboro College Pride

PREP: Kara was a member of the Grimsley High School women's soccer team prior to enrolling at Newberry College in 2016. During her time at Grimsley, Kara was a three-year member of the varsity team, while earning All-Conference and All-Region honors four times. Additionally, Kara was a member of the the Lady Dynamo women's soccer team in 2016 and 2017. She is daughter of Shea and Joel Wood, and has two sisters Morgan and Ryleigh.

Why Greensboro College? "I chose Greensboro College because I wanted to further my education and soccer career while staying close to home. Even after living in Greensboro my whole life, I was amazed to see what Greensboro had to offer. Coach Mota was able to show my family and I what Greensboro College was all about when it came to athletics. Everyone has been very welcoming and I am looking forward to being a part of extending the success of the women's soccer program."
