LYNCHBURG, VA. — Greensboro College men's soccer defeated Randolph College 3-1 on Wednesday. Greensboro scored all three of its goals in the second half, when it recorded 19 of its 25 shots. The team remains undefeated with their 6-0-1 record.
First Half
- Greensboro generated the first chances, with
Gustav Ohman forcing a save at 4:59 before a corner kick and an
Axel Garcia shot wide.
- Randolph moved in front at 17:41 on a goal by Bryan Leiva-Membreno.
- Greensboro pushed after the goal, earning three corner kicks from 25:30 to 29:44 while Garcia and Ohman each had shots saved.

Alvaro Arroyo saved a Randolph shot at 34:44, and Greensboro added two late shots before Randolph took a 1-0 lead into halftime.
Second Half
- Ohman hit the left post at 46:31, and Randolph followed with two corners and two shots before Greensboro put together a stretch of pressure with six shots and a corner from 55:33 to 65:18.
- Greensboro continued to press with additional shots and corners before Ohman scored again at 81:55 to make it 3-1, and the Pride finished off the 3-1 win.
Ohman scored twice, including the match-winner, and led Greensboro with seven shots and four on goal. Ohman's seven shots were a season-high for him. Davis added a goal on six shots, putting three attempts on frame. Davis has now scored in back-to-back games for a streak of two. Panagiotou recorded an assist and placed all three of his shots on goal. Diane also tallied an assist and put his lone shot on target.
Greensboro achieved at least three goals for the second consecutive game. The team totaled 14 shots on goal, exceeding its season average of 9.83. Additionally, Greensboro recorded at least two assists for the second consecutive game.
