Greensboro, NC - Greensboro College Softball (14-12, 5-3) hosted Brevard (11-19, 3-9) on Tuesday afternoon at Barber Park and took home two convincing wins.
Game One:Â
The Pride won game one 15-3 behind strong pitching and scorching hot bats. The offense totaled 15 hits and 2 home runs.Â
After being up 2-0, Greensboro scored 6 runs in the third and 7 in the fourth to put the game away.
Jordyn Tong had a 3-hit game with a double and 2 RBI.
Anna Frazier,
Raven Taylor,
Kenly Brown,
Olivia Hyatt, and
Ella Ebert all had 2 hits each.
Frazier started in the circle and went 3.0 innings, giving up no hits with 1 strike out.Â
Game Two:
Greensboro scored 10 more runs in a 10-1 route of the Tornados. Five of the runs came in the first inning.
Jordyn Tong singled home two runs, followed by an
Ella Ebert RBI single, an
Erica Chaney RBI single, and an RBI groundout from
Abbey Drake.
Tong would also hit a walk-off homer to run-rule Brevard in the sixth inning.
Anna Frazier had 2 doubles while Chaney added another.
Ella Ebert added a triple as the offense totaled 5 extra-base hits.
Kenly Brown got the win in the circle, going 5.0 innings with 3 strikeouts.

Greensboro travels to Pfeiffer on Saturday for a doubleheader beginning at 1:00 pm.
