Greensboro, NC - Greensboro College Softball traveled to William Peace for the final regular season series of the season on Saturday and won both games. The wins extend their win streak to 10 games.
Game One:
It was all Greensboro in game one as they earned an 8-0 win in five innings. The Pride scored the first two runs in the second inning thanks to an
Ella Ebert two-run homer. After scoring once in the third and again in the fourth, Greensboro broke out for four runs in the fifth to go ahead 8-0.Â
The inning included a bases-clearing double from
Paydon Reynolds and an
Anna Frazier RBI double.
In the circle, Ebert went all five innings, striking out three batters. The win boosts her record to 5-2 on the season.
Game Two:
It was a high scoring game two as Greensboro took down the Pacers 11-8.
Anna Frazier had a monster game, hitting two home runs and totaling five RBI and three hits.Â
Jordyn Tong continued to add to her home run total, belting a two-run blast in the third inning for her ninth homer of the year.
Kenly Brown had a two-hit game at the plate and earned the win in the circle. She pitched four innings, giving up four runs and striking out three.
