Greensboro, NC - Greensboro College Women's Lacrosse (3-13) hosted Warren Wilson College (6-9) on Wednesday and fell 11-8.
The Pride scored the first three goals of the game in the first quarter to take a 3-0 lead. The Owls scored three of their own in the second, while Greensboro scored once and took a 4-3 lead at the half.
Warren Wilson turned up the heat in the third, scoring four goals and tying the game 7-7 as the teams went to the fourth. They then scored four more in the final period while the Pride could only score once, and the Owls earned the come-from-behind win.
Brynly ManWaring scored a team-high 3 goals and had 2 assists.
Keira Fenyo had 2 goals with 7 ground balls.
Carly Walton had 10 saves in goals.
