Buena Vista, VA - Greensboro College Men's Lacrosse (9-3, 3-2) fell in a road conference contest to Southern Virginia (4-8, 3-1) 21-9 on Tuesday night.
The Knights had their offense clicking all night, as they scored 6 first quarter goals to jump out to a 6-2 lead. They scored 4 more times in the second, and then continued their offensive output with 11 second half goals.
The Greensboro offense totaled 9 goals on the night, with
Justin Barry leading the way with 3.
Will Pailthorpe,
Alex Mattoon,
DiMaggio Wilson,
Alex Speckin,
Nathan Foncilus, and
Seth Woods all scored 1 goal each.
Quinton Solomon led the team with 14 ground balls while
Guy Galardi III and
Colin Byrne had 2 caused turnovers each.
