GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Greensboro College Women's Lacrosse team (2-8) fell to Pacific University (5-3) 15–1 on Wednesday afternoon at Pride Field.
Pacific took control early, scoring eight goals in the opening quarter to build a commanding lead. The Boxers added two more goals in the second period to carry a 10–0 advantage into halftime.
Greensboro broke through in the third quarter when Carly Walton scored a goal at the 4:40 mark, finishing a play assisted by Sydney Patton. Pacific answered with three goals in the quarter, including a trio of man‑up scores, to extend the margin to 13–1 after three.
The Boxers closed out the contest with two goals in the fourth quarter to seal the 15–1 final.
Walton and Aaliyah Akers split time in goal for Greensboro, combining for 11 saves. Defensively, McKenzie Koos and KP Pageot helped anchor the Pride, while Greensboro collected 32 ground balls on the afternoon.
