Greensboro, NC - Greensboro College Women's Lacrosse (1-6) fell to Pitt-Bradford (3-3) on Tuesday afternoon at Pride Field, 20-9.
Despite the loss, it was a big day for sophomore
Brynly ManWaring, who scored a season high 5 goals on the day. ManWaring leads the team with 10 goals on the season.
The Pride fell behind 4-0 after the first quarter, but got two goals in the second period, one by ManWaring and one by
KP Pageot. The offense got stronger in the third quarter, scoring four goals. The Pride scored three more times in the fourth quarter, giving them their second highest goal output of the season.
Sydney Patton scored twice on the day, while
Keira Fenyo also scored. ManWaring had 2 assists and 3 caused turnovers, along with 7 draw controls.
