Greensboro, NC - Greensboro College Women's Lacrosse (1-3, 0-1) fell in a home non-conference contest to Truett McConnell (1-2) on Saturday afternoon 16-6.
Greensboro started strong, scoring three of the first four goals of the game to take a 3-1 lead. However, the Bears scored the next 8 goals to take a 9-3 advantage in the third quarter.
The Pride wouldn't go away easy, scoring two of the next three goals, but the Bears offense proved to be too much again in the fourth quarter by outscoring Greensboro 5-1.
Brynly ManWaring and
KP Pageot each scored 2 goals for the Pride, while
Genesis Chinchilla and
Keira Fenyo each scored 1 goal.Â
