Greensboro, NC - Greensboro College Women's Lacrosse (1-4, 0-1) hosted West Virginia Wesleyan (1-2) on Tuesday afternoon and fell 5-2.
It was a defensive battle all game long, as both defenses and goalkeepers played strong. The Bobcats scored 2 first quarter goals while Greensboro found the back of the net once in the quarter on a goal by
Keira Fenyo.
WVW scored once in the second quarter to take a 3-1 lead into halftime. They scored one more time in the third quarter, and again scored a goal in the fourth. The Pride could only get one more goal on the day in the fourth quarter from
Sydney Patton, as Greensboro would fall 5-2.
