Greensboro, NC - Greensboro College Men's Basketball (8-12, 4-5) hosted NC Wesleyan (15-6, 7-3) on Saturday and fell in a high scoring affair, 91-84.
The game remained close throughout, as there were 14 lead changes and 13 ties. Greensboro outscored the Bishops 36-34 in the first half.
DJ Jackson scored 13 points in the half to lead the Pride while
Will Gray had 8.
NC Wesleyan found their offensive groove in the second half, however, scoring 57 points, going 15-26 from the floor. The Bishops led for over 15 minutes of the second half, and despite remaining a close game, the Pride couldn't get enough stops on the defensive end of the floor to slow down the Bishops.
Jackson and Gray had 26 points each, while Gray also had 6 rebounds.
Ryan Roberts led the team in rebounding (10) and assists (5).
