Greensboro, NC - Greensboro College Women's Lacrosse (0-1) hosted Division II Lees-McRae (2-1) on Thursday night and fell 21-1.
The Bobcats got the scoring started early as they put up 9 first quarter goals. They then added 5 more in the second quarter. The lone goal from Greensboro came from
Brynly ManWaring on an assist from
Kenzie Helton in the second period.
Lees-McRae would only get 2 third quarter goals, but added 5 more in the fourth to close out their second win of the year.
For the Pride,
Keira Fenyo led the team with 2 caused turnovers while the team totaled 5. The team also totaled 10 draw controls.
Notes:
- The Bobcats were a perfect 8-8 in clears while Greensboro was 5-14.
- Freshman
Aaliayh Akers earned 9 saves in her collegiate debut.
