Lexington, VA - Greensboro College Men's Wrestling competed in the annual Jim Crytzer Invitational on Saturday held at Washington & Lee University.
As a team, Greensboro finished 9th out of 11 teams in the tournament. Two notable performances came from
Omori Lee and
Isaiah Manning. Lee, wrestling in the 184lb weight class, finished third place after going 4-1 on the day. Lee won his first match over Sam Tignor of Washington & Lee by a 15-8 Decision. He then defeated Hank Svedin of Southern Virginia by a 13-7 Decision.
In the semifinal round, Lee would lose to Ryder Depies of Wisconsin Eau Claire via a 10-3 Decision but would come back and win his final two matches to take home a third place finish.
Manning also made it to the semifinals of the 197lb weight class. In the semifinals, Manning lost to Will Davis of Elizabethtown College and would lose his final two consolation matches of the day.Â
Ethan Kring went 2-2 in the 174lb class on Saturday, earning wins against Tanner Giatras of Southern Virginia and Joseph Lagman of Marymount.
Ivan Benitez also went 2-2 in the 141lb class.Â

- Manning was the defending champion of the Jim Crytzer Invitational in the 197lb class after winning the tournament in 2025.

Nick Menjivar,
Marcel Martin, and
Carson Gardner each earned a win in their respective weight classes on Saturday.
