Greensboro, NC - The Greensboro College Men's Wrestling team hosted the #1 ranked dual team in the country in Roanoke College on Thursday night and fell 43-6.
The lone win for Greensboro came from freshman
Josue DelCid. DelCid earned a win by fall over Jackson Rowling in the 149lb weight class.Â
The Maroons had defending National Champion in the 141lb class, Mark Samuel, wrestle against
Mitch Johnson of Greensboro. Samuel would take the win by tech fall.Â
The 184lb battle was a tight one, as
Omori Lee was defeated by decision 9-8.
Isaiah Manning also had a strong effort in the 197lb class but lost by decision, 6-3.
Up Next:
The team will travel to Washington & Lee on February 5 for a 6:00 pm matchup with the Generals.Â
