Box Score Greensboro, NC - Greensboro College Women's Soccer (1-0-1) took on Bob Jones (0-1-4) in a non-conference match on Wednesday night at Pride Field. The teams battled to a 0-0 tie.

Greensboro controlled possession throughout the first half but couldn't find a way to put one in the back of the net. They had 6 shots total in the half with one on goal. The Bruins had zero shots in the half.

The second half saw the Bob Jones do a better job with maintaining possession and get a few opportunities on the offensive end. They totaled 6 shots with 4 on goal. Greensboro's freshman goal keeper and reigning USA South Rookie of the Week, Shyann Hansen, kept Bob Jones off the scoreboard with 4 saves. She now has 8 saves in the first two games of the season.

Alex Dawson and Abby Lush each had 2 shots for the Pride, while Francesca Aurednik had 3 shots, with 2 on goal, for the Bruins. 

Greensboro will travel to ODAC opponent Averett for a non-conference game on Saturday, with kick-off set for 5:00 pm.
