Greensboro, NC - The Greensboro College Men's Soccer team (2-1-2) fell in a non-conference match to Averett (2-1-1) on Wednesday night, 2-0.

The Cougars had 9 shots on the night, but 2 of them found the back of the net. They scored 1 goal in each half, the first coming in the 29th minute and the other in the 71st minute to put the game away.

For Greensboro, they had 16 shots with 8 on goal, but couldn't score on any of their opportunities. Gustav Ohman led the team in shots taken with 3.

Greensboro is back on the field again this Saturday when they travel to take on Mid-Atlantic Christian for a 2:00 pm kickoff.
