Brevard, NC - Greensboro women's lacrosse scored ten goals on Sunday in their 19-10 loss to Brevard.
Brynly ManWaring led the team with six goals.
ManWaring and
Keira Fenyo scored the first two goals of the game to put the Pride ahead 2-0. Unfortunately, Brevard scored the next six goals to go up 6-2.
Both teams traded goals throughout the second quarter before the Tornados pulled away in the third quarter. Brevard finished the game on a 4-2 run in the fourth quarter.
Rosanna Espinosa-Ponce had three goals to go along with ManWaring's six and Fenyo's one. ManWaring and
Kenzie Helton each had one assist. Espinosa-Ponce led the team in ground balls with five and in caused turnovers with two.
In goal,
D'Kayla Thomasson had fourteen saves, which is a new career high.Â
Greensboro will play at Guilford on Tuesday at 4:00 pm.
