Greensboro, NC - Greensboro men's basketball hosted Southern Virginia on Tuesday night and fell 90-70. Isaiah Pruett led Greensboro with 24 points.

The game was close throughout most of the first half. The Knights had just a 5 point lead with 4:43 left in the first half before going on a 13-0 run to end the half up by 18 points.

In the second half, SVU maintained their cushion without allowing the Pride to get any closer than 13 points. Eli Ballstaedt was the story for the Knights, scoring 27 points on 7-14 shooting. SVU hit a total of 12 three-pointers on the night.

For Greensboro, Griffin Powell scored 14 points while freshman Jeremiah Howard scored 11 points with 8 rebounds. The Pride shot 49% from the floor as a team and hit 10 three-point shots.

The Pride play again on Saturday when they travel to play NC Wesleyan at 2:00 pm.
