Winston-Salem, NC - Greensboro women's basketball fell to Salem College on Saturday 48-47 to end the 2024-2025 regular season. Despite the loss, the Pride will play in the USA South Conference Tournament first round on Tuesday at Brevard.

Both offenses struggled throughout the game, as Greensboro shot 30% from the floor while Salem shot 33%. Salem led 15-13 after one quarter and took a one point lead into the halfitme break. 

Greensboro tied the game at the end of the third quarter, but the Spirits took home the win after outscoring the Pride 9-8 in the fourth. 

Azuria Barrino led Greensboro with 16 points while collecting 9 rebounds. Nataya Atwater and Nakiyah Kelly scored 9 points. The Pride shot just 2-19 from behind the arc in this one and 7-11 from the free throw line.

Greensboro will travel to Brevard on Tuesday night for the first round of the conference tournament. Tip-off is set for 6:00 pm.
