Buena Vista, VA - Greensboro College Women's Soccer (11-7-2, 5-4-0) fell 9-0 in the USA South Semifinals against Southern Virginia (12-6-1, 8-1-0) as their season comes to an end.
It was all SVU in this one, as they scored 4 goals in the first half and 5 in the second. The Knights had 17 shots on goal, as the win propels them to the conference tournament championship game.
Griffin Horn had 4 saves in goal for Greensboro while
Shyann Hansen had 3.

Ashlie Linker all had shots on goal.
For Greensboro, it was a tough end to a strong 11-win season. The Pride earned the #3 seed in the conference tournament with a 5-4 conference record and reached the semifinals for the fourth year in a row.Â
Greensboro had four players named to the USA South All-Conference team, as well as one to the All-Sportsmanship team. The team will graduate three seniors and hope to continue to build off another double-digit win season next year.
