Box Score 2 Misenheimer, NC - Greensboro College Women's Volleyball (12-2, 7-0) ran its winning streak to seven matches by sweeping both Pfeiffer (7-9, 3-3) and Johnson & Wales (5-12) in a tri-match on Saturday.
Against Pfeiffer, Greensboro defeated the Falcons by three identical 25-20 match scores. Payton Shiflet recorded 18 kills and 3 blocks on the day, while Jaylyn Templeton contributed 29 assists. Greensboro continued their recent dominance over Pfieiffer, having now won their last six matchups against the Falcons by a combined score of 18-1.
In their second match of the day, the Pride downed Johnson & Wales in a non-conference matchup that saw them win their seventeenth consecutive set (sweeping the match 25-18, 25-14, and 25-11), dating back to the third set against Meredith on September 20th. Shiflet registered 12 kills, while Enjoli Allen set a career high with 9. Larkin Baxley also notched a career-best 31 assists and Grace Klingensmith recorded 5 aces between the two matches.
The Pride will travel to Southern Virginia on Wednesday for their next conference bout.
