Greensboro, NC - Greensboro College Volleyball (15-2, 9-0) took care of business on Saturday as they took down NC Wesleyan (9-12, 1-7) in a conference match 3-0 and Trinity College of Jacksonville (3-14) 3-0 in a non-conference match.
Greensboro vs NC Wesleyan
The Pride improved to 9-0 in conference play as they took down NC Wesleyan 3-0 in the first match of the day. Greensboro took the first set 15-11, then took set number two 25-13. They would complete the sweep with a 25-15 set three win.
Payton Shiflet had 14 kills to lead the team, while
Skylar Rokov had 6.
Jaylyn Templeton had 24 assists and
Morgan Mayfield had 24 digs.
Taylor Cotie had a 4 block game while Rokov had 3. Greensboro had 9 total blocks on the match.Â
Greensboro vs Trinity College
Greensboro earned another sweep against Trinity College of Jacksonville in the final match of the day. Greensboro took the first set 25-8 and then took the second set 25-11. In set three, the Pride earned a 25-14 victory to get their 15th win of the season.
Charlotte Michaels led the team with 9 kills while
Kantley McKown and
Taylor Cotie had 6.
Larkin Baxley had 17 assists to lead all players, while
Grace Young had 14 digs.Â
