Greensboro, NC - The men's and women's swim teams competed against Columbia College on Saturday in their final tune-up before the ODAC Championships.
It was a successful day for the women's team as they won multiple events including the 400 yard medley relay and the 400 yard freestyle relay.
Senior
Kilee Kemp took home wins in the 100 yard backstroke and the 200 yard breaststroke, while
Allysia Alfred won the 50 yard freestyle event. Alfred also won the 400 yard IM.
Gabrielle Hunker earned a win in the 100 yard freestyle.
On the men's side,
Devin Caldwell won the 100 yard breaststroke event, while
Jarrett Hunker won the 50 yard freestyle.
Head coach
Korey McCulley said after the meet, "I was very pleased with the competitiveness on display from our athletes. We had several swimmers racing and winning events that aren't part of their usual event schedule. It's encouraging to be racing this well going into our last meet of the season. I think we're going to have a great ODAC championships if we can continue to stay sharp for the next three weeks."
Both teams will compete in the ODAC Championships February 12th-15th to end the season.
