Greensboro, NC - The Greensboro women's swim season came to a close after the team competed in the final day of the ODAC Championships at the Greensboro Aquatic Center.
On Saturday,
Omega Pinnix earned a first place finish in the 100 yard freestyle prelims, and then finished second place in the finals of the event. Pinnix also finished 4th overall in the 100 yard backstroke event on Friday with a time of 58.62.
Day One: The only event of the night for the women's team was the 800 freestyle relay. The relay team to
Allysia Alfred,
Gabrielle Hunker,
Kilee Kemp, and
Omega Pinnix finished with a time of 9:11.92, good enough to finish 8th out of 10 teams.

Day Two: Day two began on Thursday morning with the women's 500 yard freestyle prelims. as
Virginia Hufschmitt swam a time of 8:02.61. In the men's 500 yard freestyle prelims,
Zak Gumaya swam a time of 6:42.60.
In the women's 200 IM prelims,
Kilee Kemp swam a 2:38.17, and
Allysia Alfred timed in at 2:47.17. In the men's 200 IM prelims,
Jarrett Hunker completed the event with a time of 2:30.82.
Omega Pinnix swam in the women's 50 yard freestyle prelims with a time of 24.27, good enough for 5th place.
Gabrielle Hunker swam in the same event and timed in at 30.29.
In the final prelim of the morning session,
Devin Caldwell swam in the 50 yard freestyle and swam a time of 26.28.
In the night session on day two, the women's 200 yard relay team of Alfred, Kemp, Hunker, and Pinnix finished 8th place. In the 400 yard medley relay, the same group finished 8th again. \
Day Three: In the
medley relay, the women's team finished 8th at 2:02.77.
