Men's Soccer Loses to Hampden-Sydney in Season Opener

Hampden-Sydney, VA - Greensboro men's soccer took on Hampden-Sydney on Friday night to begin the 2024 season and lost 5-0.

The Tigers from Hampdon-Sydney got off to a strong start with 3 goals in the first 15 minutes of play. Greensboro held their own for much of the rest of the contest, allowing 2 goals late in the second half.

Pride goal keeper Christian Del Cid had 7 saves on the night, playing all 90 minutes of the contest. 

Greensboro will play their next contest on the road at Randolph College on Sunday, with the match beginning at 3:00 pm.
