Mount Berry, GA - Greensboro Baseball (9-2) completed their suspended game against Oglethorpe from Saturday night on Sunday afternoon and came out on top, 14-3. They also played their regularly scheduled game against Berry College and fell 14-4.
In the game against Oglethorpe, the Pride bats shined as they came across the plate 14 times on on 12 hits.
Brody Gardner had 3 hits and 2 RBI, while
Chris Le,
Nick Marshall, and Kai Hayne had 2 hits each.Â
Greensboro got a strong performance from
Aaron McInvale on the mound. McInvale went 6.0 innings while giving up 7 hits and 3 runs.
Nick Stegura closed the game out in the seventh inning.
The pitching struggled against Berry College as they gave up 14 runs. The Pride defense also had 3 errors on the contest.
Adam Weber had a 3 hit game as did
Nick Marshall.Â
Michael Richards got the start for Greensboro and went 3.1 innings, giving up 6 runs.Â
Greensboro will travel to Guilford on March 5th to play the Quakers, with first pitch scheduled for 2:00 PM.
